This easy laundry detergent is all natural and most importantly, your clothes will smell amazing and be so clean!
2 cups of baking soda
2 cups of washing powder
1 bar of castile soap (I use Dr. Bronner's)
1 cup of epsom salt
The hardest and most time-consuming step in making this laundry detergent is grating the soap. Make sure you grate the soap fine. Combine all ingredients into a glass jar (I use a canning jar), and voila, you've just made a natural laundry detergent.
To use- I use 1/4 cup of this in a large load of laundry.
Note- If you want this recipe truly cruelty free, please read up on which companies do not do animal testing. If you are having a hard time finding washing powder, just make your own like I did! Take two cups of baking soda and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes on 350 degrees. You will notice that the baking soda becomes a different consistency and a much finer powder.
